            @icecold: Check your emails, I got an auto reply to say I already have a Samsung account and so I had to use that instead. Deals still worked as long as I provided my ac.nz email.

            However, in order to access the Samsung Student Deals Portal, you need to be a student or staff member of a New Zealand educational institution with a valid.ac.nz email address as the main requirement.

            Otherwise, you need to get in touch with your HR to have the correct domain and be able to sign up to our EPP program.

            sucks when the email addy was provided by unitec but it doesn't have an ac.nz addy

      Applies automatically at checkout for your first transaction of your account. I don't want to splash it around a lot, but there is a means to create what appears to be a new unique email address if your university uses the Gmail backend if you want to open a new account.

      I think that crazy deal stacking was a one time thing. Got my wife a S23+, and was kicking myself after for not getting one for myself.

      Generally I think the market for high end phones is cooling somewhat (plus apple has become dominant in some key markets like the USA), so I would expect more price completion. We are starting to see this in the automotive space too.

      Even this deal comes as a bit of a surprise. Normally there is a launch promo, then few deals until the phone gets towards the end of it's cycle, but in this case we are seeing 30% discounts on educational prices just a couple of months after launch.

    traded in iphone 14 pro max and with this and bonus $200 trade in value - cost me $350 including trade in to upgrade to S24 Ultra.
