I wouldn't buy this from Aliexpress.

Tbh if the listing says genuine it's safe to buy. I got stung with some fake shimano bike pedals and Ali express refunded me $200 and the store delisted their fake goods. Otherwise I've spent about $800 on shimano parts and my local bike store confirmed they're all legit (plus did my own research Google shimano fakes). Four years later those parts are still working and I've given them hell.

      • Yeah agree. Always can dispute, I usually always get my money back no matter what

  • Tempting but the saying if its too good to be true, it most likely is..

  • I can see it at least down to $40.25 if you get it from other sellers, but I don't know if I would trust buying something like this from aliExpress - I guess it should be easy to see if it's legit by connecting it to logitech software? And if it's not aliexpress should allow for a dispute and refund, so could well be worth the gamble.

    Alternatively:
Dick smith for $101 (inc shipping):

Or the direct to the source (supplier of the dick smith product it seems) for $85.90 (inc. shipping):

I bought 2x Logitech stream cam. One from pbtech. One from Ali almost 2 times cheaper. The cameras looked absolutely identical. Packaging was different though. And both are still working fine today. But…

    There's always "but".

After 1 year the cable on the one from Ali crumbled into pieces. Camera still working. But cable is falling apart. Bot cameras installed in the same room. In the same condition. Coincidence? Maybe.

Or they producing extra stock on the same factory at night time while nobody knows without any quality controls? Maybe.. or are those which failed QA check? Who the hell knows. But if you buy local it's easy to challenge local retailers and make them replace it. Good luck getting money back from Ali after a year.

    Gamble… :)

  • looks like they droped the price, so you could buy something worth $5 to use the code.

  • I've bought a Razer mouse, wireless logitech headphones and multiple EUFY security cameras from Ali Express at 40% the cost of what they cost here - All have been legitimate items that connect seamlessly with their relevant apps - Not really any risk because you can easily dispute through their payment protection where the buyer is basically always in the right
