Out of interest, does anyone actually use mevo on a regular basis? From what I can tell, it looks to be targeted at people in the city, working or living there, who don't have access to a car. But I've never actually heard of anyone using mevo outside of cheapies.
I basically use it on trips, especially to Wellington. It's a good option if I just need a car for a couple of things but not necessarily all day, and cheap, especially with credit
I live in the suburbs but work in town and have used it several times overnight when I have something on late rather than doing the night busses. I'll take a car after I finish work or after my evening event/show/whatever, drive home, then drive it back the next morning to work and only pay the overnight rate which is pretty good value. Works out great for me. I often see them parked out in the regional parks on the weekend so assume lots of people use them as an easy way to get out of town for the day to places public transport doesn't serve.
I use it for road trips out of Auckland. Very economical compared to rental cars.

My car is more of a city driving car. Prefer something with a bit more skrrt out of town
Definitely. Use it instead of taxis when I need to get across town. Far cheaper. Also for going to/from the airport for the same reason.
We don't have a car but over the years have used Mevo for things that public transport isn't good for, like appointments out of the city centre, camping trips, open homes, visiting friends late at night etc. If you pick up a car after 6pm it caps the cost at two hours of use until the morning, so it's a cheap way of visiting friends when an Uber would be too expensive.
Use them when i am in Auckland. Very cheap for the quality of the vehicles and just being able to go and grab one.

You use all your credit at once. I thiiiink it starts from the oldest credit first
