Agreed. These guys are dodgy af and they don't honor price match at all (Epsom branch) even though they advertise that heavily.
Wouldn't recommend it. they failed me on my break pads which had just been checked at the service 3 days prior and still had 4mm on them and the limit is no less than 1.5mm. Quoted me $971 to fix this as apparently they would need to change the disk too so they wouldn't squeek. Went to my usual mechanic and they said its BS and quoted me $400 for the fix. Definitely get a second opinion or go to a VNTZ! Probably just tried to up charge me as I'm a young blonde girl driving an impreza 😂 edit: was at Botany branch

Edit: I don't think all WoF stores have that offer listed as Nelson doesn't https://tonys.nz/stores-and-vans/nelson/central . I mean that page also suggests Grey Lynn and Albany as nearby stores so who knows of course.
I don’t mean to throw shade but I have a Tony’s tyres right next to my office in Albany and I have two work colleagues that told me of bad experiences with them, being upsold for no reason and stuff like that, I can’t remember exactly but it made me feel this is exactly the kind of place that would fail you a wof to try sell you stuff.
