How can we access Amazon au prime day from NZ? Will it even ship to NZ if I try my friends au for just billing address? :)

I did this last year and it worked.
From memory:- Set your default address to an Australian one (doesn’t matter where)
- Sign up for Prime trial
- Add items to your cart and then change the delivery address to your NZ one at checkout.
- Complete checkout
- Cancel the Prime trial

I was able to sign up to the prime trial using the aus address, but when I changed my delivery address at checkout half my items weren't deliverable. Was hoping to get the firestick 4kmax especially.
Ahh yeah same happened to me with fire stick. But I think it’s an Australian fire stick. I got an NZ fire stick from JBHIFI.
Put my order through using an Australian Billing address. Order initially was successful and got an email for my order. 10 minutes later got an email saying account and order were on hold due to unusual activity and required proof for billing address.
When I placed my order, they charged my card the next day. Hopefully that means they actually will ship it (it hasn't yet). I've had the AU address on my account for more than a year though.
Tried ordering some movies using the method and it just said they couldn't ship
