SmartVent do a heat transfer system. They are usually well regarded.

Yeah that isn't normal. They should get someone who knows what they are doing to fix it

I think most Pellet fires require electricity? Most of Chch has emissions restrictions on Wood fires so you need to get a ULEB Fireplace

The benefits of the Heat Pumps is that they do cooling as well as heating. If it was me, I would put in Heat Pumps in the Lounge, Master…

Gas probably won't be banned, but it will be a lot more expensive compared to electricity in the future.
15/09/2024 - 15:34
Induction is just as fast, if not faster than gas.
15/09/2024 - 12:13
Gas is going to increase in price much faster than electricity in the future.

Man I wish Jetstar flew to more NZ locations. The Air NZ prices for routes with no Jetstar competition is horrific

The A35 will likely have much better battery life too

I have the A24 and it is fine apart from the Camera, which is pretty terrible. Might have to save up a bit more then for the next upgrade

Most mediums will be double shots. Some places do doubles on everything, others give single shots for smalls. It depends.

If you want to go down a rabbit hole, there are many threads on https://www.geekzone.co.nz/ discussing these different options.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Haier do own F&P, but F&P still do their own design and manufacturing.

If you buy the 10yr ones, make sure you keep a copy of the receipt somewhere. Ours kept failing after 3yrs or so, even the good brand ones.
25/03/2024 - 11:42
That is not true. F&P still designs and manufactures some of their products, usually the more high end ones.
