Cheap business class flights to Xi'an, China with 2 free stopovers such as Guangzhou. Looking at the Google Flights Price Graph, normal flight prices are from $3500-$4300 so this is very good value. Book through Gotogate/BYOJet/Aunt Betty or book directly for $1,915 at China Southern's website.

  • Pretty sure you've got the AUD price in the title, vs the NZ price of $1915 on flyertalk etc? Could be wrong, but none of your links show it in the $1700s…

    • It's NZD, you need to click all the way through Google Flights. Screenshot.

  • Hmm, I wouldn't mind most of a trip on business class, I wonder if there's any good flights from Xian that I could head straight back out on to other countries I actually want to go to, like Japan.

    • That was exactly what I was wondering too.

      • Been trying to search but it's super hard to search Business Class flights.

Edit: Could do $2.7k return to Shanghai in October on Business Class, then a $300 economy flight return to Osaka, and never leave the airport in Shanghai.

Business Class return to Japan is like $6-8k

  • Random question - in the past I always used Skyscanner and never used Google Flights, is Google Flights now the better option?

Pretty similar. Google's UI is fairly simple with no ads and you can get notified of price drops for dates (not sure if Skyscanner has that). You can also scroll through the calendar to see the prices on different days. Google has also added a lot more OTAs recently to match Skyscanner.
