About time they went digital on these. Who wants tiny stickers that get lost between checkout and your car.

    • +2

But half the fun is chasing them around the carpark when a gust of wind comes along….

    • How do you keep track of them?

  • +2

As always, my tip is to scan for people's discarded sticker receipts at the self-checkouts.

If you get on a self-checkout immediately after someone who has walked off you can grab their unwanted receipt for stickers, and also keep an eye out for any in the small bins there and as you pass by vacant machines on your way out.

Hard to get that excited over a bunch of containers though. At least they are microwave safe this time round I guess?

    • That's a super tip, thank you. I'm gonna send my kids to collect all the discarded receipts and go through them 🤣 This is a fab offer for us. I bulk cook dinners and then freeze the extra so my husband has work lunches. These are perfect for that.

  • Food containers? Lame. Won’t bother with these at all.

    • Then give me your receipts 😁

Oh yay another marketing scam from NW, where they won't have nearly enough stock to fulfill demand. How many times are they going to pull this and be investigated by comcom before they are stopped?

    • Probably for a while, ComCom are useless.

  • Cheapies are pragmatic and recognize for the first 9 weeks there is definitely enough stock
in the last 3 weeks, everyone suddenly starts having enough stickers to claim something, even the part-timers get given stickers from their mum who already has 4 of everything. So guess what, they run out fast.

Assume nothing for the last couple of weeks, or otherwise just get ready to copy and paste your complaints from the end of last promotion.

  • I was told by new world employee yesterday if you don't keep your receipts they won't accept the stickers

    • +1

Nah bro. That would be ridiculous. Nothing about the need for receipts in the T's and C's.

      • I know I thought the thing, but thought maybe its a way of stopping people who get given them from friends and family.

  • Shows how fake these brands are, just selling their name to be used on cheap promotional crap

vacuum sealing a glass container sounds um a bit risky…

    • Take piping hot lasagna in glass dish out of the oven, pop lid straight on and pump out all the air, what could go wrong?

    • -1

If you pump hard enough you could cause an implosion resulting in a singularity?
