I have used these a few years ago for aesthetics inside my old computer.

I never fully understood how can we buy custom cables but we are not meant to mis and match cables from a previous power supply because of mismatching out pins. Will these cables work with my Corsair RM Series RM1000X 1000W?
Because they are extenders, they plug into the existing cables you have from the PSU, they're not replacements from the PSU itself therefor it's just an extension of pin to pin matching if that makes sense. These do not plug directly into the PSU. It means you end up with a bunch of cabling inside your chassis.
If you want direct replacements then yes, you need to be very specific with pinouts, and companies like cablemod are the place to go, where you have the choose your psu 👍

Also, I got mine yesterday they are pretty good but they are really spaced out so like if you just want something cheap its algs but they aren't the best looking :) still cheaper than AE ;)
Thats a good price for those extensions, they aren't the best and have gaps in them but compared to the most basic ones on aliexpress (which these are as well) they are actually a very good price. Like 2x pcie 6+2 is $2 and 1x 8 pin CPU is $3 and 1x motherboard is $5 so only $10 for a whole set. Aliexpress ones are usually like $19 incl gst and shipping so you know not bad. :)
