Good value for using United Mileage Plus miles. Not just the usual LA/San Fran but can go all the way from the East Coast like NY for 45,000. United uses dynamic pricing so I can see flights from 55,000-100,000 in non sale periods.

So for example Aug 29, 31 - Sept 3(united.com)

Works both ways. Sept 5 or Sept 7 to NY(united.com)

Use seats.aero(seats.aero) to find availability easier.

      Yes, they have a 30% off currently but they are known to do 100% bonus at certain times of year.

      So 45000 would be $1,185.19 USD or ~NZD$2000. Not great value to buy now.
