  • thanks heaps :)

  • Thank you so much!

  • Does anyone know if you sign up to this using a 'new' email address, can you then add one of the overseas plans (i.e. Turkey or India) afterwards and keep your library and preferences in-tact?

    • +1

You will need a new email and a payment method not previously used (Wise/Revolut is your friend here)
Just share the playlists with any new account.
If you have a lot of Playlists then you could use something like SpotMyBackup which is really easy to use with the only proviso that it copies your playlists in reverse order! This can be fixed by doing he the process twice - ie. importing the reverse order and then re-exporting again.

  • Can i use an empty prezzy card to sign

    • I'm not sure - you can always try it.
If you sign up to a Wise/Revolut card then it's really easy. You don't even need to order a physical card, just digital.

  • Cheers. My last 3 month freebie ran out last week!

  • Anyone else having issues with Spotify not accepting Revolut or Wise as valid payment? It says Spotify disposable card does not work with this merchant in Revolut app.

    • Use the Virtual card in Revolut rather than Disposable.
That’s what I always use and have had no problems.
Disposable cards are ‘one off’ and can’t be reused. As this is a subscription service (even though it’s a trial) the card needs to be used again at the end of the trial if you continue.

  • Thanks, working for me using a Wise digital card - I added the minimum $5 CC top-up to my Wise account before Spotify would accept the card - I think they charge a small temporary amount to check the card is good.

  • Hi was on 3 month trial but had account changed back to free account this morning , anyone else had this or know a way around

    • Yes it has done this to me also.
I have done this many times in the past without an issue but my account reverted to free a few days ago and I wasn't sure why.
My wife has had no problems and I'm wondering if it is to do with the fact that I am on iPhone and she uses Android - presumably something in an app update has detected it.

    • Yup, noticed that this has happened to me today too. On iPhone. It's interesting that there's no notification about it or anything.

  • i am on android , but daughter does share the account on here iphone
