Is the fingerprint reader above the keyboard also a power button or is it the poor side power button design which is known to break?

Checked the user manual for the 82YS, the fingerprint reader/power button is above the keyboard.

Is there a code to bring it down to 799, as the link say $1099?

    • When I visted earlier it was $977, ~$100 cheaper than other retailers

      • Sorry, please using coupon code 'LENOVOYOGA' for $300 off. Thx

  • What's the vibe team, these any good?

2in1 hinge failure is high (on all brands) :)
LCDs are expensive to replace unless you need the convertible function dont buy a 2in1

      • You also sacrifice battery life if there is touch screen which normally is with 2in1

      • Sold.

    • I think they're as good as the manufacturer warranty, once that lapses it would be a nightmare replacing anything beyond ram and hard drive. I usually say laptops devalue $300 a year so if you spend $800 and get 2-3 years that's pretty decent then flog it off and get a newer machine.

  • I've been watching the price of this laptop drop over the last couple of weeks and this price is pretty tempting. Has anyone seen/used it and comment on the quality of the build and screen? I currently have a 7 year old Dell XPS 13 but don't need a super high spec'd machine, it'll just run Linux and a few light weight apps and a browser.
