The flatbeds tend to be a smaller volume. How does these compare with say a panasonic inverter model?
My old man has this style of microwave and it f***ing SUUUUUUUCKS.
The food doesn't heat evenly, if you're not close enough to the right hand side it barely does anything.
You have to rotate the dish manually, and have to use many short bursts to cook and stir things while heating.
Can't remember the make/model, IIRC its a panasonic.I second this. We have the Panasonic version of the inverter flatbed microwave and heating is crap. Prefer it just rotated itself but that defeats the purpose as we bought this one so we do'nt have to clean the rotating glass thing. Never cooks evenly.
Someone mentioned below the LG version of this may be better.
I bought a 25 ltr neochef inverter microwave $229 from harvey norman a couple of months ago.
Legend microwave and its not just me the reviews say it too.
Highly recommend.
