An easy tip for people with items already listed: If your listing has been up for more than 2 days, you can simply close it by editing the end date to a date that's already passed, and your listing will expire immediately on saving. Then relist it.

I always do this when free selling comes up so I can get the benefits.

Also if you do buy now only listings, there's no fees or consequences if you withdraw.

  • Thanks, curious, how does Trademe let people know about this? Can’t see a link on the homepage, which makes sense as they don’t want everyone to wait until Sunday.

For anyone who wants to avoid giving trademe money - there's a bug where if you setup autobiller with a payment method that doesn't have enough funds to cover the transaction, it will turn autobiller off, but you can go back into your autobiller settings and turn it back on. (It's meant to be that you have to top up before turning it back on, but you don't.)

Normally you have to top up before you list anything or buy anything, but if you have autobiller on, you don't have to.

  • Just bought something I feel a little guilty about and im in the 'sell off the crap' phase of it.

    Perfect timing

    • Decluttering is always a good phase :)
