Great gifting idea or perfect for guest rooms. Not Full HD but hardly makes a difference for 32 inch tvs although it does have HDR to enhance picture quality

In my experience cheap TV's 'HDR' is hardly noticeable or not effective at all. Not hating on the deal, this is a great price for a smart TV, just want buyers to be aware not to expect the HDR to be functional.

I think i'd prefer 1080p to HDR on a tv this size. HDR is generally not great in most tvs that don't have decent brightness and local dimmkng to male the relevant bits pop like hdr is meant to. Its more hdr because jt can acccept those signals, similar to how cheap 720p projectors can be "4K capable"

Woah! I just presumed this was a 1080p screen. 768p is crazy. Definitely not usable as a monitor then.

  • Can we use this as a desktop/laptop monitor with split screen/2 screen? I am not sure what the exact term is. I want to know if I can use one giant monitor instead of 2 monitors to get advantage of 2 screens in 1. Sorry if this is a wrong question in this forum

    • It would be okay if you just want to watch YouTube videos but the screen resolution is rubbish for text. You can buy a far better Monitor for that sort of money and have 1080p which is reasonable but 4k is what you really want.

    • I wouldnt recommend it, the resolution ks too low fkr sotting thst cllse and it will look like a screen door seeing the big pixels. We have 32 inch 4K monitors at work and thats great, but at this size monitor I would think you want 1440p as a minimum, once you go up to 27 inches 1080p loses sharpness so 768 would be pretty bad.

  • Even if you get the 1080p model of this, the actual android TV interface renders at 720p so for other than video playback it looks blurry. We looked at using some for signage to save buying the firetv sticks and it was not suitable. This would be even worse as you have the 720 to 768p scaling, which is much more artifacty than 720 to 1080
