I found this cheaper than the same model from refurbished sellers.
S22 for $555 at both JB and Noel Leeming

I've bought one as an upgrade from my 10e - Pick up in a few days at Noel Leeming. When I tried to buy from JB, they were on back-order expected 28 November.
Hey i have a couple of near new nice Samsung branded cases for the s22, if you want them you can have them if you sort postage. Turn on ya private message option n message me if u interested
I have this phone, the battery is indeed horrible :)
But its a workphone and i didnt pay for it so its whatever…
Just turn on Power Saving option (and setup an automation to keep it on) it auto turns off if you begin to charge it and it reaches a certain point…
Lasts a day. Use is sporadically throughout the day, basically have it set to receive calls/teams msgs etc.
No power saving mode used here, in fact i have it on opposite so apps never close unless i close them.
Battery is better than 10e which op is updating from.
I do have 5g turned off though as wellington has 2 many deadspots and ph wasnt falling back to 4g as instant as i wanted (would be like 30 seconds of no service when it switched) and i did read 5g on it can drain the battery
I agree on the battery being terrible. I wish I had paid attention to the reviews on this
power saving mode turns off 5g automatically, i have 1 hour usage on reddit, nothing else is past 10 minutes and I stopped
charging at 7am, its now 2 pm, 7 hours later its at 27%.
NOTE: I have my phone only charge to 80% so its used 53% in 7 hours, when it gets to sub 15% it drains even faster
Use advanced battery protection mode so it chargers to 80% except for the last bit of time before morning when it chargers all the way to 100%
Mines at 79% from this morning, 16m chrome, 14 m utube, 10 minutes pokemon go, says iv had 1hr 15 min screen on time even though that doesn't add up
can confirm the battery is trash on the s22
I have the S22+ which has an even bigger battery but it is also trash.
Holding onto it to trade for the S25 series next year.
If you did have an older phone it is still a decent upgrade.
Should I get s22 or A55?? Pros vs cons?
From what I understand A55 better battery and will have longer period of updates, but s22 has mostly better specs otherwise incl processing and camera
Do you care about camera and the processor more or battery and extendable storage?
If the latter I would probably go for the A55 personally.
https://nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/samsung-galaxy-s22-e… shows a reasonable comparison
Well i just upgraded tp the s24 for 316, so i hope my mind gets blown on battery difference.
I got this for just over 600 last time and lots of people say the battery is bad, but it was still an upgrade from my s10e.
