  Anyone used these?

  Looks similar to rug doctor styles we’ve used from the supermarket hire. Wondering same or less industrial etc

  Big question is can you use other cleaning agents with it (assume you could) as these specific brands can be expensive if have to buy via Hardley Normal each time.

    I have the pet version of this one.
    It is great, easy to clean, doesnt leave much water in carpet.
    I use rug doctor liquid in it, used the bissle green machine liquid.
    Good for couches as well with the hose.

    Very convenient to have, but if you only clean your carpets once every 2-3 years, probably not worth getting.

        Rug doctor, you can price beat at mitre 10 using bunnings price.
        I've tried the "oxygen booster formula" can't tell the difference, water is always coming out chocolatey

  Ie how big a deal is this?
  (As someone who never considered purchasing rather than just hiring occasionally)

    Not the same model. Bissell one is 2889F while HN one is 3112f. HN one has additional attachments.

  This thing effing sucks dont waste your money. Bought one a while ago and it lasted just 25 months (only used a few times) and the warranty is only for 2 yrs.

  The damn thing started smoking and almost caught fire. Absolute ballache to go through warranty process and ended up just binning it and blacklisting it from my life.

  So yeh, do NOT recommend!!
