Just a thought… having been using since 1974 (Broxadent 240v Plug In) and having been using one since, low end/hi end) the best I have is a new'ish Oral-B sourced from AMAZON that takes 2 x AA cells… allows one to use decent cells (better than what's in these models) - and well, the benefits are plain.
All the 'features', of a $500 Oral-B are not really 'that' useful, not to me anyway, but being able to use the same cells as all my headlamps etc is a very worthwhile feature indeed.

Sconicare from Phillips is lot better
Trying to find specs for oral-b toothbrushes is almost impossible, and their confusing model naming makes it difficult to rank models.
All they need to do is tell customers the pulse frequency and battery life. But, rarely advertised, especially the pulse freq. You'd think they are trying to fool their customers into buying the high end models when some of the low end models are just as good.
Secondary features such as the pressure sensor and 2 minute timer are helpful too.
But other features such bluetooth and apps are useless add-ons to charge more.
I've been using the oral b 800 for almost a year now and it's been good. Hoping mill St pak n save has them again for $20 so I can pick up a spare.
This is currently $112 at PBTech for their BF sale (limit 1) so can get it for $100.80 priced beat at Briscoes.
Great deal, great toothbrush.
