$499 seems to be a great price for a self emptying robo-vac. I previously bought the Xiaomi S10 (which seems to be very similar, minus the auto-empty, and is now on sale for $349.

I still have the original Xiaomi gen1 and it's still going strong after around 7 years now.
These cheap Xiaomi's are great vacuums, really hard to justify upgrading them.I've got a Roborock S6 and I presume this is similar to Xiaomi. Have found mine needs stripping down every so often to get to a filter that becomes clogged. A common problem I hear, and there are Youtube videos showing how to complete. The S6 is a few years old now so not sure if these newer models still have the same issue, or at least a way to get to the filter without dismantling the whole thing.
All of my xioami vacuums have the filter attached to the dust bin. Haven't had a need to disassemble
Single brush - suitable for hard floors. Would recommend dual brush if you have carpeted flooring
