Samsung Jet95 Hexajet Vacuum $449.10 (with $200 Trade-in and New User Discount) @ Samsung NZ

80
BF2024LOYAL50

I just picked up this vacuum for 449.10 delivered, which is a sharp price for a $1149 vacuum There are a number of ways to get close, so will list a couple of ways.

This vacuum seems pretty decent. Not as good as the Dyson Gen5, but just as good as others. I have brought this to replace a Shark, which I got through a deal i posted on here a few years ago.

You can also get it for $579.10 on your amex with no trade in.

Heres how I got there

  • Normal Price $1149
  • Black Friday Discount $300
  • BF2024 Code $100
  • LOYAL50 Code $50
  • Price after Codes $699
  • Trade in (Dyson/LG Electrolux/Sharp/Miele/Hover/Bissell/Samsung) $200
  • Price after trade in $499
  • New App User discount (Just buy in app and its applied) $49.90
  • Final Price (delivered) 449.10

So I traded in a broken vacuum (And listed it as broken, and still got the $200 trade in)

I have amex $50 off for 500, but with the trade in, takes me to 499, so I used the new user discount instead.

If you don’t have a trade in, it could look like this if you pay on the amex

  • Normal Price $1149
  • Black Friday Discount $300
  • BF2024 Code $100
  • LOYAL50 Code $50
  • Price after Codes $699
  • New App User discount (Just buy in app and its applied) $69.90
  • Price after New App discount $629.10
  • Amex $50 discount $50
  • Final Price with no trade in (delivered) 579.10

Its also available at Noel Leeming for $759

  • What type of of vaccum you traded in? Got an Electrolux Rapido 14.4 v hand held will it go through

    • The trade in list has about 8-10 brands (Correct me if im wrong)

But can be any type of vaccums cord, cordless from those brands

    • You are all
Good. Choose Electrolux and make it broken. You will get $200. I’m trading half a Dyson. It’s dead. Brands as mentioned above.

This vacuum was $285.34 last week after trade in on the EPP Store. Was $235.34 after LOYAL50 code. I was tempted… but didn't need a vacuum.

    • Interesting was this the pre-Black Friday sale? Or did they have some kind of EPP flash sale on appliances or something?

      • They are always having random sales. I assume it was just some kind of flash sale.

This vacuum is very heavy - bought one for around $335.
The swivel is nice but the actual foam roller kinda sucks. It is a step down from a dyson, unfortunately

    • compared to which dyson ?

    • jet95 is lighter than any dyson sticks, used dysons until my last one crapped out and it's definitely lighter even my wife doesn't complain it's heavy like she used to with the dysons

  • Anyone got a AMEX card? Would like to use the discount for a purchase from Samsung NZ. Can share Blinkist PRO as a 'thank you', valid for 6 months. :)

    • you can use mine. DM me if you like.

      • Cheers…DM sent

  • Can't seem to use codes now. Maybe they stopped it.

    • Have you tried upper case. They can’t be lower case

  • Codes only working for phones now. And then only select phones.

  • Has anyone tried trading in a hand vacuum?

    • +1

That’s what I’m trading in. Will let you know.

  • Can confirm the codes no longer work. Will expire the deal

  • Codes and discount still work with student portal. Came to a total of $357!

    • For the Jet 95? Are you using Unidays or something just the Education EPP? I'm using Education EPP but price is a little over $400 with BF2024, $200 tradein and 10% welcome. Did you somehow managed to stack LOYAL50? I thought stacking multiple codes stopped working on EPP months ago but maybe it temporarily worked again for BF or still worked with vacuum cleaners or something?

Hi - I was able to stack the codes.

        • Actually I see this was also for the S24 FE and some other deals, somehow I didn't notice.

  • I posted this in the preparation thread but feel might as well post it here. It's an interesting issue for those hoping to get the Jet 95 very cheap.

Found an interesting thing about the EPP site and the Jet 95 Vacuum. Can stack both BF2024 and SNN 10% code provided by Samsung agent. But if you add a tradeup it removes one code and if you try to add it back you find you can now only use one of those codes but can use either one. (Lowest it comes to is a little over $400.)

But with the 210W Bespoke Jet Plus Pet even with a tradeup you can still use both. Likewise if you have both Jet 95 and Bespoke in the cart. Wonder if this means they've set a minimum selling price for items and if it's too low it removed discounts?

    • Can you explain the snn code trick?
      edit:
I could not enter the BF2024 anymore

      • BF2024 only works on the EPP site now.

Also I said the wrong thing, SNN is a $50 off code not 10%. You can get a 10% from agents but this isn't valid for vacuum cleaners. They used to give out a 25% code for appliances but they don't anymore unfortunately.

To get a 10% code try asking a live chat agent if you can have any codes for extra discounts on their site. You could mention you don't have a Samsung phone so can't use the Samsung members app. Although the one time I tried live chat the only code I got was via a survey. But others seem to have more success. (There are several threads spread out where it's been talked about.)

I've had decent success via email. There seems to be a standard template they use for emails codes although sometimes they may offer other stuff. You might want to mention you are using the regular site since they often ask this. Perhaps also mention you are looking at several different items so they don't ask you want you want to buy.

They take nearly a day to respond so it's way too late for the Black Friday sale. Frankly even live chat is a little late. They seem to respond a bit faster to your replies, so it's such a big deal if they ask a question.

        • i only have edu access. oh well.

          • @wearnes: Edu access is a form of EPP and was where I was seeing the just a little above $400. Unless you mean Uni Days that I don't know but if you have Uni Days should be able to do EPP edu unless you've left the instution and no longer have email access. Too late now though

    • Tradeup lowers the Jet 95 price to below $500, so you can't use BF2024. Just add something to bring you across the threshold.

      • Oh didn't know BF2024 has a $500 minimum. That explains it better than my idea. Good to know and doesn't matter it's now dead. I'm still hoping to get it at $300 level some have bought it before and would have been over $350 even if I stacked BF2024 and a $50 code on EPP with a tradeup.
