Lots of fruit trees (apple, pear, peach, nectarine, lemon, lime, cherry) on clearance at Bunnings Blenheim.

  Could maybe call your local? Only found this by chance as had to get a mandarin tree for a xmas gift (unfortunately mandarins and oranges were full price)!

  From my limited experience, these sort of deals are fairly dependent on local stock and I think also the store management. If the store has too many trees that are getting old and in poor condition and need to be sold soon they will often reduce them to try and clear them. Precisely how quickly they do it, how much they reduce them etc can vary quite significantly, but also how many trees they end up with in this situation is going to vary

Mitre10 hornby / ChristChurch does this deals as well they currently have orange and mandarins for 40 % off which is roughly 25 ish NZD .
They are doing 50 % off large plants

In past they had done 20 % off on all citrus and 30 % off all citrus i have managed to get 15 ish different varieties of citrus from them , mostly on flying dragon root stock and some one trifoliate
