  • Did you see it in store? I can’t see anywhere to show what stores would have it in stock

      • Doesn’t show for me on this item, no option to add to cart or view stock…weird! Guess it’s not meant to be

        • It was at the time of posting my comment but no longer an option on the website now.

IMO If you are in the market for one of these I would stick to Breville

    • same thoughts. either Breville or Delonghi.

      • De'Longhi feels really cheap and plasticy TBH in the same price range. I bought one and decided to return it for a breville.

I think the main issue is Sunbeam as well as De'Longhi use aluminum in the portafilter and it feels really flimsy in hand (also not sure about aluminum in a high temp high pressure environment)

        • what does Breville use?

      Have you used both?
Because I haven't, I have however used this one for 10 months now and I absolutely love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, makes delicious coffee, 0 issues. For me at least paying for the more expensive Breville model makes no sense to me.
I paid in the 400s. At 399.99 I think the closest breville is at 1.5x the price. Maybe to a coffee expert that is better value for money. I just don't see it however.

      • This machine's awesome, I've used it for over a year with no problems apart from normal maintenance stuff like descaling. It makes amazing barista-style coffee.

Sages/Brevilles have been shown to last years and years. Not saying that this Sunbeam won't, but at least for the Brevilles I know for a fact they and Delonghis last. My De'Longhi is more than 10 years old now. Way worth the initial expense.

      • Same. Ours is probably 4 years old now and works like a charm.
