  • hi is $111 a month not $105 unless missed something

    • Definitely $111 which is $86 p/m after credit.

I think $105 pricing was back in August 2024 from the copy/paste of the old deal.

Also this current promo makes it clear it’s only for new One NZ customers as opposed to eligible customers in the old promo

  • This looks good, slingshot is going up so might be time to swap

  • Anyone know if you can get a static IP? I suspect they don't use CG-NAT, but if your IP changes every x amount of time or on ONT reboot that's not great either.

Also, does anyone know what payment methods they take?
Currently paying my 2degrees bill with Amex for the airpoints.

    • yeah, one doesn't have cg-nat yippe

      • They arent CG-Nat? Time to move over …..

  • +1

    Zeronet plans are cheaper.

    • +7

      Zeronet is horrendous.

      • Zeronet is just a smaller retailer using the same fibre broadband infrastructure as larger companies and I have no issues with with their customer service so far, which I have seen is what most people complain about online. For people that don't need faster internet than what you usually get on 4G mobile, their Fibre Starter 52mbps plan is really cheap for $65 per month plus half price for the first 4 months. Or wait for the Mighty Mobile Unlimited Faster up to 50Mbps, $50 per month plan to go on sale again for $25 per month, they use the same cellular network as One NZ. Although performance may vary greatly depending on local cell tower, but still very cheap and useful for people that travel a lot.

  • You should be able to combine with the Chorus promotion giving you a $400 prezzy card if you're a new fibre customer

Would work out as $52.67/mth over the 12 month term

  • I’m already w OneNZ but would prefer to be w another ISP because of price creep. Have already moved my mobile accounts to another telco.

Having said that, have had no problems w Fibre Max. Always got a consistent 2ms ping, 950/530 speed test result.

  • I've made the move and the speeds were great, however I had issues with my game rubber banding like hell + CGNAT opt-out may not be a thing? The customer rep had no idea what I was talking about. Hence I'm trying to move out and go back to Contact. YMMV.
