    Nice pickup. I like that this one will give you a power reading. Have a couple of others which don't, so never really know how charged they are. Just grumped that the pretty red one isn't included in the sale, though its the same unit.

    Seriously wish though that PC Tech had Paypal as one of their payment options. So much easier.

    Gotta say, PB Tech have a much better system of stock control than many others.

    Least you have a very accurate view of availability, and it freezes stock for a period, while it is in your shopping cart. So frustrating when you waste time jumping through all the hoops to get to the end, only to find the stock is no longer available.

    Or worse, the likes of DSE where you find out two weeks after you've paid for the damn thing, that sorry, there's no stock left.

      Although it keeps showing that there's a display yellow one in stock, even after I purchased and Huntakillaz purchased. Allowing me to buy another today aswell.
      Something dont seem right, I would assuming there a bug somewhere (in the matrix?)

        Yes, noticed that happen. Wondered. Perhaps the stores just releasing the last few backroom stock? So long as they honour the deal. Might be lucky and get on of those sexy red chrome ones which were not priced down with the rest.

      Apparently the stock update doesn't complete until the payment is fully cleared. So there may be defaulted orders on the last items sold. C'est la vie

      I just bought one open box demo (says only 1 in stock) and when it is my cart it say unavailable to others, then once I bought it I go back to the page and it says 1 'display model', bought that one as well, then goes back to 1 demo unit available. Either they have a lot of demo/display/open box or I wonder if there is an error on their system.

    Got mine today, didn't seem to come with instructions and after charging it for an hour it still reads 0.0.
    Will try charge something from it soon.

      Think it read somewhere, four hours to charge. But you'd expect some reading after an hour. Still, at least PB Tech seem to be reliable re returns/refunds. At least this model has a readout, unlike many others.

        I took it off charge and tried to charge a phone with it and got no action. Plugged the powerbank back into the charger and it gave a reading of 10 (i assume 10%) and appears to be charging now.

        I also believe it charges at a max rate of 1000mah and outputs a maximum 1500mah which would indicate 5 hours to charge the powerbank and charge a device at a maximum of 1500mah which is about par with current smartphones but a bit slow for tablets.

          Lithium batteries don't seem to like zero charge. So if it has been uncharged for a length of time, might take a bit extra to get it up to capacity. Have a DSE one which is doing the same thing. But with no readout, I've no idea whether it is accepting a charge or not. Used it once then nada. And ofcourse, now no resolutions available with anything DSE related.

      Likewise, missed out on a supplementary order I made on the last stocks. As I was interested in a completely unrelated product, they gave me a substantial discount on the other product, plus obviously, refund on failed purchase. So, once again, PB Tech have excelled at their customer service.

      Okay, interesting. One of my cancelled orders was for same product, different colour. I exchanged numerous emails with PBT customer service. I specifically asked if there was any chance of leaving it as a back order, since I wasn't in any hurry. The rep (Tanya) replied no, it was EOL (end of line?) and they were not getting any more stock.

      They gave me a substantial discount on a completely different item, so went away happy.

      Curious. Would have thought that if colour was the only difference, they would have mentioned it? Good luck if you can get it.

    Really happy with the product. Great looks and feel. Compact and stylish. Nice soft storage bag making it look like a piece of jewellery. Seems to have great shelf life on stored power.

    Only puzzlement is that it behaved strangely when charged. Given that it has a readout on what the current % charge is. When charging, each one of them stayed at the same reading for the longest time. Got several of them, each at a different charge level off the shelf, ranging from 65% to 95%.

    Didn't think they were charging for first hour or two. Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to charge them off the USB port or if the amps out were high enough. Was digging around the odds n sods box for a wall plug with a USB port for charging. Then, slowly at first, the % charge rate began to increase. Then after first few hours, the charging rate seemed to dramatically increase.

    Came good in the end though. Well pleased with the purchase.

    I ordered six of them and they never came. I contacted PB Tech and they told me:

    Sorry about this we were trying to order replacements and just got back this month that this is EOL no more.
    Did you want to change to another product and I can check what discount I can apply otherwise we can refund both orders.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

      Received five out of six ordered. (Very pleased with them btw, excellent at holding charge with minimal storage loss).

      Received a similar offer for the sixth one. Used this to negotiate a substantial discount on another unrelated item. Discount was worth more than the whole original order. (Checked with pricespy to confirm the discount amount well exceeded historical minimum for item.)

      Didn't think they'd go for it but got lucky with the right sales assistant (via email). Was well pleased with the outcome.

    Asked if there were anymore since i had 2 on back order and they sent out the 2nd one!
