When you post these, could you please put both new and existing %/$ rates for each store, since most users from here would probably be existing

    • Thanks for the awesome suggestion! 😊 We’ll definitely try to add both new and existing cashback rates in future posts to make things easier for everyone. Appreciate you sharing that with us! 🙌

      • Thanks, makes it a bit easier to plan stuff or make sure to have funds.

Your enthusiasm is great! Now go ahead and use some of it to update the post you already made so that you're not deceiving by omission! (dollar. sign. emoji.)

  • can you also please specific for booking.com/ trip.com which items are which %? hotels? flights? etc

    • its only ever hotels - got my hopes up the first few times it would be flights

      • I've seen 10% on flights before for Trip.com - but just unfortunate it wasn't the cheapest even with the 10%.
Think it was like 15% Hotel and 10% Flight at that time.
        So does come :)

  • New world is at 0.5% not 50%.
So someone get the decimal place wrong.

      • I stand corrected.

    • I also get 0.5% and never shopped at New World online through ShopBack (or directly either). It's been on my watch list so I might have clicked through at some stage but never purchased? I signed up to ShopBack in April last year.

Can @gotyourback comment on whether this is correct? It's funny because it's usually 1% (uncapped) and only goes to 0.5% (capped at $20) when they run the New ShopBack Customers thing so I suspect an error in the logic somewhere.

      • Hey mate! That does sound a bit odd 🤔. Could you shoot us a DM so we can take a closer look at what’s going on? We’ll check it out and see what’s up with the rate. Appreciate you flagging this! 😊

    • Hey! Yep, this offer is for "New Customers only", so only those who are new to "both ShopBack and New World" should be able to see and receive the 50% Cashback rate.

The Cashback rate displayed is based on your account status—if you’re new to ShopBack and haven’t purchased from New World before, you’ll see the 50% rate. If you’re an existing customer, you’ll not be seeing the 50%.

Appreciate you flagging this! We’ll make sure to be clearer on future deals when it comes to New vs. Existing Customer offers. But if you’ve got any other questions, just let me know! 😊

  • Can you clarify a little bit more here. I'm not new to shopback but I'm new to using new world on shopback but i can't see this deal. Do you mean only new shopback customers who have never used it to purchase anything will be eligible for the 50% new world?

    • Yep, that’s correct—this offer is only for New to ShopBack customers, not just first-time New World shoppers.

So if you've made purchases through ShopBack before (even if not at New World), you wouldn’t be eligible for the 50% rate. Only those who are completely new to ShopBack can gain it.

If you’re able to see the 50% Cashback offer when redirecting to New World, you’re eligible for the New Customer Rate. If you only see 0.5%, then that’s the rate you qualify for.

      Hope that helps!
