Saw Martz5's deal with JB and requested a price match with NL - and they ended up matching JB's price on their website outright.
Managed to use the NL's new sign up code (individualised code and can be copied to be used with old accounts) with it to bring it down to $189.

Is it possible to combine the two? I was told that they would refund the price match once delivered. I'm worried they won't do that if I also use the student beans discount.
@Garry: Asked live chat if my student discount would apply with the price promise and they replied with “As per price match policy, no other discount can be applied with price match.”
@Brit22: Same here - was ready to return my NL order but got the response from Bose that "we can only accept 1 promotion per transaction."
@Garry: Yep also just had a big yarn with one of their chat support people who said they wouldn't accept two promotions on one transaction so wouldn't honor it along with price match…

@Garry: Basically the student discount is combinable but the price match isn't, so in this case, the latter wins. Did you manage to get a $350 refund along with the $50 student discount? That'll be very lucky.

Paid via credit card, they only refund you the difference for the price match after the purchase is made.

Can anyone comment on how these stack up against the XM3s from Sony? Have seen a few comments relative to the XM4s and XM5s, so tossing up whether to bite the bullet and replace my XM3s.
I have the XM3s. But going to Bose as I like the blue toggling when using multiple devices, and the comfort long term (i.e. flights), XM3s for me get a bit itchy after an hour.
I think the noise cancelling is slightly better on XM3s on paper. But don't think it's noticeable to the untrained ear.
I will miss the NFC connectivity though, XM3s will become my wife's pair for travelling

Kind of feels like they want to avoid selling it at the price match. Saw that my local store had some stock still after it went out of stock online, and I'm wondering if I head in today if they'll still be there.
I'd be surprised if they price match anymore since JBHiFi is OOS and their in-store price likely went back up when it sold out online.
You can still back-order it on JB, and at this point I think I might just pay the extra $6 for shipping to secure this price, because I'm feeling it won't last much longer.

Just picked mine up, girl at the counter said there were 5 others waiting and I said $199 is why there are 5 others waiting. I think her mouth is still open couldn't believe that price :)
