One NZ customers with an active service on their My One NZ account are eligible to redeem this offer within the promotional period Monday 14 April 2025 at 12:00am to Sunday 31 August 2025 at 11:59pm if they are:

a) A first time Uber One member; and
b) One of the first 5,000 to join Uber One and complete the webform via the link

Uber One 3-month Free trial Terms

  • Uber One free trial offer available for first-time Uber One members only.
  • After your 3-month free trial period ends, your membership will auto-renew each month on the date you joined at the rate of $9.99 per month (or the then-current monthly rate) using your selected payment method unless you cancel. To avoid your membership renewing and incurring subscription charges, you must cancel in the Uber app up until 48 hours before your billing date or by contacting Uber Support any time before your billing date.

Bucket Hat Terms

Limited to one (1) bucket hat each for the first 5,000 eligible customers who sign up to an Uber One trial. Uber webform must be completed to redeem a bucket hat. By proceeding with the webform, Uber will use bucket hat webform data (customer name, email, address) to check Uber One membership status weekly before sharing webform data with Hatched Sydney Pty Ltd. Hatched will only use webform data for fulfilment purposes and delete your data upon conclusion of the campaign. Bucket hats will be shipped to eligible customers within 60 days of form submission. Only available for delivery to New Zealand addresses. Users eligible for a free bucket hat will receive an email within ten (10) days of webform submission.

    i did the free uber one for 6 months on this deal earlier but still having trouble ending the membership so i'm not charged again around september this year,anyone else have this problem?

        I contacted support about this issue but they say it can’t be removed and will need to wait for the promo to end, as I was having trouble switching to the student plan. Best to sign up with a new account and the click on the above link.
        I have been able to redeemed the three months free with a new account, then go through the cancel membership flow where it will stay active until end of promo period, preventing getting charged in three months.

          thanx for reply, not totally sure wat u mean, so you are saying u signed up to a new uber one account under new email to get 3 months free, and the other account with 6 months free? you have been to cancel this one?now…

          • @ggallin: Yes, I signed up for a new Uber account with a new email address so that I could redeem the 3 months free promo, also disabling auto renewal so I don't get charged at the end of the 3 months. On the account with the 6 months free I have disabled auto renewal, so I don't get charged at the end of the 6 months.
            No way to cancel the promo, support have confirmed you just have to wait for it to expire. If you disable auto renewal in the app you won't have to worry about being chared.
            On the Uber Eats app: Tap Account > Uber One > Manage membership > End membership > Leave Uber One
            It should confirm on the End membership page the exact date it will expire, and they'll likely send out a few reminder emails closer to the time. Even if you do get chared, just contact support to cancel and they usual refund the charge.
