  • Thanks for the info! Good price on the Surface Pro 3!

  • Does it only have 4 GB or ram? Or can than be expanded? Pity if it is restricted to only 4GB, as it is really the bare min for windows and running a few programs these days

    • Windows 10 does manage RAM a lot better than previous versions, but the price (and CPU) goes up as the RAM does, as far as I am aware. Being a tablet device, it's extremely likely that it is soldered straight onto the board, rather than being replaceable.

  • I don't think the surface is very popular here, posted an great deal last year where the 256GB SKU was $1399 and no one cared.

    • I cared, but it's not the right time as my iPad Air is still working.

    • I think it is more a case that it is over $1k for a tablet. Even though it isn't a bad deal.

      • I see Surface as a laptop more than a tablet. Then again I guess its impossible to explain this to the misses……

        • It is, although the screen IMO is a bit small if you were using it as your daily driver, over a normal laptop, or desktop. But they certainly are good machines for traveling with.

    • +1

Yeah, nothing really compares to the freebies or sub $10 deals here but I'm sure someone out there is interested.
