Bethany's Restaurant and Café is a fine-dining restaurant in Palmerston North, serving a range of food from across the world. From Eggs Benedict for a Brunch or Lunch, to Rare Ostrich or a Grilled Loin of Pork for dinner, Bethany's has something for everyone's tastes.

The restaurant opened in 2009, named in memory of owners Reuben and Lynne Leung Wai's eldest daughter Bethany, who passed away from cancer at the age of 12.

I have dined here before and can say the food is amazing. If you sit upstairs, the views across The Square are beautiful. With the brunch and lunch mains from $17 - $27 and the dinner mains from $23 - $38, the chance to buy a $40 Food and Beverage Voucher for $20 (half price) should not be snubbed at.

Prior to establishing Bethany's, Executive Head Chef Reuben Leung Wai was regarded as one of the top Chefs in London. From his early days as Sous Chef at "Rules" (the oldest restaurant in London) to his appointment as Head Chef of the busiest restaurant in the UK (Browns Restaurant and Bar) Reuben has enjoyed a highly distinguished career.

Not sure what to get? Have a look at the menu before you go. Try the highly recommended succulent rib-eye steak cooked to your liking, or the ever-changing and always fresh fish of the day. Have a hankering for something sweet? Jane (no, you can't have her!) keeps the cabinets stocked with goodies of all sorts. Bethany's has a wide range of gluten-free options and are happy to alter a dish to your liking or dietary needs.
