Just received a Gearbest delivery, ordered two weeks ago. All correct as ordered. Genuine product, not counterfeit as far as I can ascertain. Fairly prompt delivery (from Holland apparently). Think they are working hard to rebuild their reputation. Perhaps why we are getting some good offers from them?
Yea, I've been discussing with their Rep as to how they could go about improving the service they provide. They have been banned from OzBargain, and they will need to prove themselves on here before we even consider lifting that ban. So far, I have seen good signs.
Curious though, what does the rep get out of these deals? Can't imagine that a relatively small forum like this one would actually generate enough transactions (compared with total sales) to be worth the effort of setting special deals for us.

Exposure. They make a loss on these deals, but they have sales staff dedicated to forums/communities, so it's not any extra work out of their day to post here, it's their job.
Further on Gearbest delivery performance.
Just had another of several GB deliveries. All goods as described. On average, deliveries are taking just under three weeks delivery which seems quite reasonable for this kind of order.
So they are doing well for now. Hopefully, they can earn their trust back for the Australian market as well!
