Doesn't look like bad price for this. I have another Dymo Label maker and can vouch for it. The tape for it is also on special.

Great deal, wasn't it! Note that that label printer is normally ~$30 but this one is normally $69 so I would expect it to be a premium product.
I got one a few years ago, where with the cashback they actually ended up pay me $5 for it. But it is a bit like inkjet printers where they make the money on consumables, and they almost give the machines away.
Yeah it's alright, but not as good as $8 a while ago.
Also get generic tapes from Ebay or AliExpress.
