  So starting this Wednesday all Sodastreams will be ½ price. Right now only 1 Sodastream is ½ price and it isn't sold online. I think that this post should have [Unconfirmed] at the beginning of it.

    Make soda water first. After that, you can flavour it with just about anything, including fruit juice, milk etc. Adding stuff before you carbonate often ends in a messy disaster.

    Also reading recently about being able to do cheap refills by buying dry ice pellets. Each bottle has a max weight of CO2 printed on it. When empty, just a matter of loosening the pressure relief valve on the side, then the top nut. Open, fill with measured weight of pellets, screw nuts back on with reasonable torque. Haven't tried it but seems safe enough.BOC Gas & Gear outlets sell the pellets.

    Lots. They do sugar free/diet with stevia, and classic diet with aspartame. I find the best place for syrups is actually Countdown unless there is a good sale at Harvey Norman/Warehouse etc.

      we get our sodastream syrups mainly from Farmers - regularly have 30% off so about $6-7ish, and have the best flavour range
      although recently over the last 12mths sodastream have discontinued a LOT of their flavours we used to get
