Should have just pumped a few drops extra into the tank. Not best practice, but wouldn't be the end of the world.
I did that and just poured 50c worth of petrol onto the concrete, easy!

If the engine is designed for higher octane fuel that is.Higher octane doesn't necessarily mean better, and 91 isn't junk if that's all your engine is designed for.
