  • One item has already sold out and it hasn't even began yet!

    • Looks like more than one. How can that be, as those prices aren't even active yet? I tried some of the links, and they aren't showing the sale price at all.

      • I think the sales are predetermined and some are probably the same as Friday, so they'd be marked out of stock if they sold them all on Friday. I may be wrong.

        • No sure, as some of the out of stock signs seem to have been added since I last looked at the page eariler. I may take a few screenshots to compare. I guess it could also be people buying the product at full price today?

      • +1

Probably because the listing was already made a while ago and now they are just updating their stocks levels from the Black Friday sales and showing which one is already out of stock.

    • People often buy the item at regular price prior to sale on things with limited stock and then request a partial rebate when the item goes on sale.

  • Which one, is it the Sony UHD 55" tv for $1400?

  • +1

Put the links in for you mate. :) The Powershell case is quite a good stocking filler. I had one myself with my old 5S, used it as a powerbank, charged it about 50% or so.

    • +1

Cheers, just added in the product tags.

Got a powershell when they were $5 a Noel Leeming ages ago, was really handy back when I had a 5S. Guess it's still good for those that have a SE.

      • Think we must have got it in the same sale!

  • -2

    No real bargains

    • +5

Considering that half of the things listed in the deal text are at the cheapest price ever I'm not 100% sure what you think a 'real bargain' consists of?

    • +3

You vote up the Chromecast for $59 but a Chromecast $47 isn't a bargain?

  • +1

Also a FYI that you could price match most of these at Noel Leeming via their online live chat. You could then stack that with the free shipping coupon, the $10 off $100 coupon as well as collecting flybuys.

    • +1

Noel Leeming do state that online only deals don't count for the price match but it might still be worth a try.

      • They've done it before for me, worth a go anyway 😀

        • Spray got them to match the UE Boom on Friday and get it in a different colour so can't see why they wouldn't for this.

Code for free shipping is: SMALLDEL6
Code for $10 off $100 is: MYNL16W10 (Thanks to Cyzar)

    • I didn't realise the price match could be done via online chat, how do they alter the online price when adding to cart?

      • They give you a unique code
See this forum for more info

      • Interesting will online chat works after 6pm

    • dont do this buy from PB :D

      • Don't worry, I definitely will, lots of stuff only you guys have in stock.

  • The apple watches seem crazy cheap?

Are these bombing and not selling, or is a new version coming?

    • A bit of both I think.

    • This is an old version.

    • Old ones

  • prices dont seem to be matching what theyre advertised as.
eg that powershell case at $3.99 is $19.99 when you click on it.

same for a bunch of other stuff too. Seems a bit dodgy?

    • +5

      6pm - 10pm only.

      :)

      • good point. :P

        • Ha yea, have updated the title for clarify.

  • Are the 1st Gen Apple Watches still a good deal? Any recommendations for a iPhone 6s? New to smartwatches….

    • Yup, thinking of getting one myself.

I've got a Pebble time Steel which works well if you want longer battery life and waterproof over power, heart rate monitor and a better screen. The Apple Watch also has more integration with iOS (can reply to texts / messages) while the Pebble can only view texts / messages.

If I get an Apple Watch through this deal I might sell my pebble of cheap through the classifieds.

      • +1

Hmmm. I might have a look at the Pebble watches, cheers.

        • If your interested in a PTS PM me :)

        • +1

@ClipIt: Will let you know, thanks!

    • I don't think they are that good a deal.Firstly the RRP is way too high, considers the second gen series 1, which has a dual core processor is only in the $400's on the apple website. So as these have a slower processor, and may not be supported much longer with watch OS updates, so they are probably only worth in the $200's

      • Okay thanks, I might hold off then. :)

      • Firstly the RRP is way too high

        how?

considers the second gen series 1, which has a dual core processor is only in the $400's on the apple website.

So you want to pay double the price for a double core?

and may not be supported much longer with watch OS updates,

where did you get that idea from? Apple are pretty good at providing software updates for older models

so they are probably only worth in the $200's

That's how much they are selling for.

        • They say the RRP is $512 and $613 for the 2 sizes. But if you go to the apple website, the newer version (series 1) which is a lot faster as it has the dual core processor is only $429 & $479. So these older 1st gen apple watches current RRP could be in the $300's or $200's. http://www.apple.com/nz/shop/buy-watch/apple-watch-series-1/…

Apple aren't always great providing ios updates for 1st gen devices. eg the 1st ipad stopped getting ios updates after a year or two. eg it shipped with ios3, and was only upgradabale to ios5, that is just 2 years. This 1st gen watch is now nearly 2 years old, and has already had 3 watch os upgrades, so potentially that could be it in terms of upgrades, considering it has been replaced by the new series 1, ad it's processor is slow. THey don't want it to be too laggy with future upgrades. The original watch model was always underpowered and laggy. This is why they put a new processor in this model, and renamed it series 1. However this one being sold is not the series 1 model, it is the 1st gen version, with the older processor. At least that is how it appears.

The $200 price will be limited sale price, not the RRP they are currently selling for. So the RRP being advertised should be a lot lower, as there is no way an older gen model is worth nearly $200 more than a nearer gen series 1 model.

Not saying it is a bad deal though, just some things to be wary of with this 1st gen model.

FYI: I bought a number of things from their Cyber Monday sale last year. The site was so overloaded it was barely usable, it took me ages to get my orders done.

  • +2

Might be worthwhile filling your cart now and refreshing it when the updated pricing goes live, assuming the webiste is capable of that lol.

    • Don't know if it works that way. It probably locks in the price?

      • No idea, guess it depends on the site.

        • It looks like people are already doing it. The cart removes the item after 30 minutes though, so there is a risk of someone grabbing it before you get the chance to re-add it to your cart. My last order with these guys, even though I was successful getting one of the last remaining items in stock, they later contacted me to say they couldn't provide it as they had run out of stock. So it is something to be wary of.

  • Save your basket and load it after 6pm ;)

    • Carts expire after 15 minutes though?

      • Would work from 5:50 onwards then. Sign in, open tabs, add to cart a few minutes before it starts.

        • Although if the product is already in someone elses cart, it may not be possible. Looks like people have added products as there are thing unavailable, and they are just renewing them every 30 minutes. I suppose we had to get in quick :(

  • All the Apple Watches are sitting in other people's carts…. Guess I'm missing out tonight.

    • I've got two in my cart, both different colours. When I make up my mind I'll comment as soon as I remove one :)

      • Great thank you

    • Looks like there are only 28 in total available by adding up the number in peoples carts, so the odds are quite low.

  • +1

Just got onto PB's live chat and have been told that baskets reset before the sale begins.

    • Wonder how they will handle 1 per person, as it looks like they have it set to 10 per person,.

  • You can't add Apple Watches to your cart any more.

    • The whole website seem to be locked until 6. You can't use the checkout at all.

  • Anyone looking at the Xiaomi bluetooth speakers? Are they decent?

  • Got an apple watch in my cart!

    • Lucky! I missed out… not to big a problem, I'm sure they'll go on sale again before xmas.

    • Mine said I had, but when I checked the cart it was missing. Then I got internal server error.

      • +1

Added mine to my cart but won't let me checkout:

Sorry, but there is not enough stock of these products: MPHAPP3238154 (0 orders) to proceed, someone else may have purchased this in the meantime.
        Please remove some items.

        • It looks like they have technical problems, as it shows most are still in stock, where people should have checked out by now.

        • I have it showing in my cart now, and am getting the same error. Yet it shows stock. What to do?

        • I think you have upset the apple cart, Ba-Dum TISH, I'm here all night try the veal

        • +1

          @nzmax: Try the live chat.

Also - don't forget to give the post a vote!

        • @ClipIt: Have tried live chat, but they say there website has a glitch and they sold out. That isn't good at all if they are running these promos, you would think their website would be able to cope.

        • @ClipIt: Did you manage to get yours after speaking to live chat?

        • @nzmax: Nah, just let it expire in my cart.

  • Well I've spent my $9 on some Xiaomi earbuds and a micro USB cable. Used free shipping code as always :)

Edit: checkout took two tries, payment failed once and server error once.

    • -1

Nice, don't forget to give the post a vote.

  • Anyone know if the "ORICO USB wall travel charger has 4 USB ports , 4x 5V2.4A with 34W." Has travel adaptor plugs as part of it?

    • A good tip from a colleague of mine is to take a powerboard with you, aka the 4 port kind. And just one travel adapter for your needs. Then you can plug 4 different NZ plugs in and only need one travel adapter.

      • Yeah I've already got a double USB belkin plug I take to limit chargers. If this has adapter included it would further limit what I need to carry.

  • Sales extended till midnight.

      Cheers, updated OP.

  • My purchases arrived today…. in 1 box for each item too!

    • +1

Sounds like how The Warehouse do it….

    • +1

Yeah mine arrived today too - pretty impressed. I had both of mine in a courier bag but nothing exciting / fragile. Pretty impressed by shipping speed.
