A couple of years ago, Pâtissez Cafe in Canberra, Australia started making freakshakes. Basically milkshakes with topping stacked on top. It set off a short lived food trend in Australia but the original is still pretty popular. As part of this weeks Canberra Week in Wellington, Pâtissez will have a pop-up set up in Civic Square where they will be giving out freakshakes.
The creator of the legendary Freakshakes, Anna Petridis from Canberra, is bringing her family’s famous mouth-watering milkshakes for lucky residents to sample. These decadent creations have already been taking social media by storm and this is your chance to try Anna’s special ‘Welly’ Freakshake, which has been designed in partnership with some of Wellington’s favourite suppliers.
Nice timing, do they also have an aftershock sodapop?
