  I doubt they will price match as the store usually has to be local, and the model numbers have to be exactly the same. You will find that retailers often have their own exclusive models, which is why it is quite rare to be able to get a price match.

    Well bunnings price beat online and retail stores in nz so the "local" part would only apply for mitre 10. The biggest issue here is would they take the price that used a discount code as that isnt really the advertised price on the site but rather the checkout price when you apply the code.

  I went to both Bunnings and Mitre10 in Porirua.
  First wanted to support 100% NZ owned and operate's Mitre10, but they do not give the 15% off the pricematch. They said what tradetested selling is out of their price range and they can only do price match. What a disappointment! I didn't bother to argue with them, went to Bunnings and the guy made a call to their HQ and enquiry about this. After a short while, they honor the price match with 15% off! Final price for Karcher K5 Premium Car Water Blaster Electric 2100W for $542.30 (they included the shipping fee with 15% off).

    Yea, I went in to Porirua mitre 10 to price beat the K6 2 months ago against bunnings and it took so much effort and a few calls i made to the customer service in auckland to finally get them to price beat coz the dude in the store wouldnt give it to me. Mitre 10 isnt great to deal with when you want to price beat anything so I'd stay away from them unless you want to have a long battle with them in the store lol…

      Yes, it can be a painful process but I found that having a photo evidence does help. Make sure you include the SKU/Model #/Item Code. One time, I had a quote printed from Bunnings, showed it to Mitre10 and they beat the price without any questions asked nor calls made.

        Not for my case, I show them the final price displayed on the cart from Tradetested.
        Well, save the hassle. Price beat from Bunnings instead and forget about the Airpoint.
