3 DR Solo runs two 1 GHz computers, one on the copter and one in the controller, connected via a powerful dedicated Wi-Fi signal. This enables Solo to do amazing things.

  This was discontinued from memory, so is now clearance. Quite old I expect as that was quite some time ago now 🤔

  You’ll need tour own GoPro and it’s natively compatible up to hero 4. 5 and 6 have a new lens cover shape. Newer styles may not feed video back to the flight controller.

  Assume this comes with the gimbal? Looks like it doesn’t and that’s an optional extra?

  Good price for what's possibly EOL model from 2015.

  Be aware not much is included in this bundle.

  Was gonna buy it then looked for the 3dr gimbal. The gimbal is super expensive and needed for doing any panning video etc. It used to be 50usd, but now the gimbal sells for >150usd. If you could get a gimbal that world's work it them awesome. I couldn't find any after market gimbals that can be controlled (ie tilt pan ).

  When you add overpriced gimbal and old tech and potentially difficult to get parts its a no go.

  decent price, just be aware that it is discontinued and the company is somewhat dying/unreliable. if you're looking for a prosumer (and better) drone, this will not be suitable. it's more for hobbyist or for fun but you can get cheaper ones for that.

  This company looked awesome. They led the way back in the day, and then caved. Lack of business skills unfortunately, like many startups.
