What smart TV apps are on it? Netflix?
netflix, youtube by default - and anything else you can add to SmarTVue.
If you google "Hitachi SmarTVue" you should find some video examples of the UI.
Smart TV apps are utter junk because they're terrible to use and the manufacturers stop updating the apps after a few years. Buy a dumb TV and get a Chromecast or an Android TV box instead.

Well I did get it for the 4k HDR10 feature and just stream stuff to it from my pc or tablet when I wanna watch something.
(since it can be used as a wireless display, the lag via wireless display is horrible so only good for streaming vid/music tho)
Oh, and the 43" one was $499.

I've got a 43" one of these, it's a great TV for the price, tho the built in speakers are not great, but i wouldn't say they are bad.
(slight echo like the sound/speakers are coming out of a small box, pretty minor tho…… once you turn off the surround and dynamic bass feature)
Also it's 4x HDMI (3 on the left and 1 on the back), 1 on the back+ 2 on the side support ARC.
