  • Twice in a row now that I didn't get this. What's up TM??

    • Just notice it's targeted. The website mentioned selected member only.

      • Probably them trying to get the dormant private sellers to post some new listings.

  • Targetted

    • Yeah, just noticed that.. Updated the title.

  • Is this today or tomorrow?

    • It's applicable to today's listing.

  • Last time there was a 'no fees' promotion I listed and sold a bunch of stuff. I have probably 25k worth of stuff that I want to sell as I'm looking to move - and when faced with the prospect of having to pay ridiculous fees on [each] item I'd rather just use Facebook. I'd be happy to pay a flat fee / private seller subscription - eg. $10 per month ($120 per year) to list up to 10 items a month with no / lower success fees. But with the alternative being sales via Group pages on Facebook and or through Facebook marketplace the appeal of TradeMe is really becoming limited now. Same amount fo tire kicking happens on both platforms nowadays. The only difference is you can't see Facebook seller's trade history. There are people out there who want to sell their stuff but the current fee structure is not sustainable or competitive.. Hopefully TradeMe's marketing team come across this post and pass this up the chain..

You can try allgoods.co.nz but be warned, web traffic is extremely low. Hopefully they will gain traction over time. On the plus side, it is easier to list an item (well for me anyways) and the fees are very low. We need alternative websites like these because, as you and I know, TM doesnt give a shite about feedback from us.
