Wonder how these compare to the generic $15 ones of say Kmart.

  These $15 fans are all the same, just like last year.
  
  The best fan "value-wise" is the $35 Kmart fan with remote control, 50cm diameter (others in this price range are 40cm) and what looks like high-velocity fan blades.
