IIRC $20 a dozen for the plain glazed donut, $28 if you want the variety ones.
Offer to go get donuts for everyone at work come back with everyone's order and an entire box of 12 for yourself :-p

It's 10pm at the Manukau store and there's like 100 people queuing outside. Absolutely crazy for just some donuts.
Oh yes, I was there at about 9pm. Saw that they were queuing outside in multiple layers and so I gave up.
Wasn't that bad in City. Why didn't some of you come here
@upbeat: Much more convenient to drive to Manukau than to go to the CBD. (bus fare/parking etc.) Also Manukau is the factory shop so I reckoned that they won't run out of donuts.
What I didn't expect is just how much people in South Auckland love their donuts….
@Avantime: Well if you didn't wanna stand in line with 100 people, 10 people line in CBD didn't sound bad to me now
You could've at least texted here asking how it's in the other stores, shouldn't have been that bad during office hours
@Avantime: I actually went there on way back but was around 9.40 pm by time I got there and they were closing/finished. Like Avantime didn't expect to to be that busy and thought they'd hopefully have everything. Was going to get a variety dozen + the glazed, I believe it's $42 normally so only saving $13 for a 1 h + (I expect) que.
@Nil Einne: Wow I feel lucky. I've got some for myself and my mate during office hours and saw some suited crowd in queue there with their office mates in CBD store
@upbeat: Come to think of it, the huge crowd could be because they advertised it a lot in FB and their site, sending out mailers
@upbeat: The Manukau store is always busy, even on an average day. I picked 10pm hoping that the crowd would die down, but nope.
Anyway I was told by one of the security people that I had 20 minutes parking (I didn't actually see the queue until i left the car) so I had to leave once it was obvious that I won't get served within that time. I'm not going to risk getting my car clamped or towed.
@Avantime: Well why don't you give this a go. Costs around the same price as the ones today, if not cheaper than today's for assorted

@upbeat: Thanks, I already brought the deal about 2 weeks ago. Dunkin Donuts is nice, but Krispy Kreme is better (and pricier too).

Didn't think it would be quite that extreme but seems I was right to expect the city stall to be out of at least some of the non glazed flavours at 8 pm.
BTW if people are wondering what the drive thru was like, they closed off the car park entrance and made you go around somewhere to queue. Had event management staff on site and event signs and everything, so guess they expected it to be busy. In retrospect should have expected this. I happened to be in Manukau on the 7 July when they had their chocolate glaze donut available. Were available until the 10th, but didn't stop the drive thru queue at 9.30 pm IIRC starting (barely) on the main road, probably at least 40 cars.
