This was a bit of a surprise, I can't find it advertised anywhere but I was just about to reinstall PHPStorm to jump on the fallback license and they had a spiel about giving away their All Products Pack for 3 months during COVID.
Promo expires sometime in May but not sure exactly when as there is actually nothing about it anywhere that I can find and the banner is now gone for me (as I applied it earlier today).
Anyway JetBrains make excellent IDEs for most languages, as well as plugins like ReSharper for other IDEs like Visual Studio.
To be honest, if I had known about it at the time I probably would have used VSCode for my web dev a year ago, rather than buy a license. JetBrains have split their products off to specialisations that are slightly more relevant for your programming language, but probably not $99USD per year more relevant. Excellent IDEs but I don't think they're $99USD per year more excellent than the free VSCode.
To get the promo, register and you'll find a banner at the top of the subscription box, hit apply and it's applied and you can use any of their products free for three months.
So this would be good for people either not yet using a full IDE, or people who use or want to use JetBrains plugins for their IDE.
They're also doing a public beta of Rider, their IDE implementation for Unreal Engine 4. Not sure how it is for debugging, but for straight coding it's surprisingly better integrated than VS.
