    They often parallel import products that they don't sell locally for their Red Alert site though. It would be cool if they were to start selling IKEA products, but at the same time it would probably remove the possibility of them coming here in the short term. I know there was talk at one time of it happening, but never anything concrete.

  Plenty of traders on Trademe selling IKEA furniture for a living. They ship out whole containers packed full of IKEA stuff from Aussie.

      IKEA stuff on TradeMe are pretty expensive as compare to Australian IKEA store prices e.g. This wardrobe cost AUD$89 = ~NZD$98 vs cheapest on TradeMe NZD$205 excluding shipping.

        After living in 2 different countries with IKEA stores, I'm not sure why people are going bananas for IKEA furniture at those prices..
