Note it does not actually cool despite being marketed as a cooling fan.
Its a fan heater so will warm the room relatively fast in winter.
But it wont cool a room in summer. It only blows air around if you want to "cool" the room.
yeah nah nt for me, when ceramic fan heaters around the $100-150 range do just as well if not better.

I got one of these from the Dyson web site very cheap on a pricing error.
It is a huge waste of money at anything above ~$250.
No timer to turn off. Quite noisy at low.
No night mode to make the very bright lights off/low.

TBH the AM09 is pretty bad for both heating and cooling
Whilst we're on the topic of cooling: can anyone recommend a personal (portable) cooler/air conditioner that is effeciant in cooling a bedroom for helping sleep in summer? Budget up to $400 max
if you're not a light sleeper and don't mind a bit of noise get an air circulator as those tiny portable coolers are pretty much useless
I got a CAT air circulator from mitre10 and used it as a circulator+fan, makes you go from sweating hot to shivering in a minute even on lowest setting
I wouldn't recommend this as one of their fan owners. Also not sure if it is an older model, as it seems they are coming out with lots of new models that also clean the air, and this mode doesn't appear to be sold on their offical website any longer.
