Used coupon E5XTD-10 brings it down to USD $ 188.10

    • discount code no longer valid

  • How likely is this to get through customs without getting stung for GST and tax etc?

The seller has to collect gst on all purchases at the point of sale, only if they sell more than $60,000 to NZ per year.

Means you’ll pay gst on everything from Amazon regardless of price but may get lucky with smaller international retailers on purchases under $1,000

      Hopefully.

  • Yay I bought one. My first printer. Does it come with filament?

It'll come with several metres of white PLA. I found the stuff that came with my Ender-3 v2 pretty average and stopped using it - it'll likely be the same as what's in the Pro box. I get my PLA from a company called 3DEA - they've got a website but I purchase via their TradeMe store. There are also a few stores on TM selling eSun PLA+ which is held in high regard. I haven't used it myself but the reviews of it globally read well.

      • oh nice, thanks for the tip. I'll try get one of each from 3DEA and ESUN.
How's the one from their own brand?:

You're welcome! That's a good way to go - see what brand suits you best. Regarding the Creality filament, it's likely the same as what's in the box. I personally I wouldn't bother with it because of the price (both for the roll and shipping).
