Thanks, just paid $105.18 NZD for lifetime membership. Used paypal and chose Brazil when plex asked me for my country. It charges 375 BRL and paypal converts to 105.18 NZD. Got the tip off the plex subreddit.

(used the coupon as well that is)

Thanks for the tip! I just did the same thing - upgraded from my yearly account to a lifetime account and selected Brazil to save even more! (I cancelled the recurring payment for my yearly account first, then went through the process of subscribing to the lifetime account. I feel if I didn't cancel my recurring subscription first it wouldn't have asked me which country as it simply said my existing card would be deducted immediately).

      • Good idea, I cancelled my free trial month before as well!

        • how do you change country? i dont get the option

          • @wellydeal: Make sure you dont have your credit card as your preferred payment anymore, change it to paypal. If yuou have a current subscription make sure to end it. Then upgrade (if you have a cancelled subscription it lasts until the paid end date) or add a subscription for lifetime using the coupon code above. Choose pay by paypal, go through the normal paypal steps on the paypal popup. Then it redirects you back to the plex site where it will have a confirm country option before you finish the order. And choose brazil there.

    • Darn, wish I'd know about this tip earlier. Bought the lifetime sub about 30min before you posted haha.

    • Thanks, think I might get one, been doing monthly for quite a while now, lifetime seems like a great deal at that price :)

  • Oh great find. After 3 years of yearly, I may as well jump on this. Thanks.

that'll teach me not to check on here every day! aargh.
