Not unless you lose the card. Thankfully the cards are clonable so you can always have a backup.
@upbeat: Some android phones are able to read the tag and decrypt but your best off grabbing an nfc reader and writer off aliexpress.
@kezzzzzzzz: I actually have a RFID clone machine, pretty simple, buy a rewritable RFID blank card and then you clone your original card which contains all details onto the new blank card. Tada

Yes you can use any gym. They dont restrict it at at all. Mt Welly is mine.
I joined in christchurch and now using in Auckland, Nelson. But I think there is a key card fee, even if no joining fee. OP could confirm

They usually waive this off when you sign up for a 12 month membership contract.
It's not true. I'm a member and can confirm speaking from my experience in both Auckland city braches and some branches charge a separate key tag fee I think

interesting. They asked me if I wanted their duffel bag or the joining fee/keytag waiver. I chose the latter.
