Redeemed no probs. After you selected the location, the next page does not show the expiry date ;-)
If I'm honest, I didn't watch the game, but what a score that the code still works for a game where they didn't hit 90! Very interesting for the potential for future games
Strangely the coupon also says that it expires on the 31st of May:
"Are you in-store and ready to claim your free Whopper Jr? This voucher expires at 11:59pm Monday 31st May 2021."
Select branch, click, next page does not show expiry date. No worries. Got my burger to go with my hot choc, no problemo.
Maybe whoever was in charge was lazy and activated it before the game but forgot to update the date for the coupon then Rowjo brute forced the code?
Pretty sure the code still works today :) Normally the site stops accepting the code when the deal expires, and the stores seem to lose the option to add the burger to the pos (at least that's what they told me when I tried redeeming the day after on one of the previous)

Just an update to my previous post:
Can confirm code worked without a hitch in Palmerston North. As already mentioned, only the page leading to the coupon shows the expiry date but the actual coupon doesn't and works fine. Two BKs here so got two free burgers. Burgers were nice but a bit on the small side (basically the bun and patty is the size of a cheeseburger unlike the regular Whopper which is quite a lot bigger).
