Is this great to use if I sit all day in front of a computer?

Apple Watch can’t compete with Garmin in terms of Sports activities

      • Yeah they are two different things really.

Garmin are really good as fitness watches, but don’t pretend to be smart watches like the Apple watch.

      • And battery life, you get about 3 weeks out of these.

For exercise tracking, Garmin watches are far superior to Apple and pretty much anything else on the market. But as a general smartwatch, the Apple Watch is better.

  • Damnit I want this. Three weeks of battery life with some GNSS functions is outstanding.

  • or could go with the sapphire glass version with carbon dlc coated bezel fenix 6. Basically the same with the 6x pro but a smaller screen size.

    • The Pro does have more features like mapping and a bigger battery

the 6 Sapphire is essentially the 6 Pro just with a sapphire glass

  • May be worth going to Noel Leeming to price match, and get Flybuys.

    • I tried this today. They can’t because the item is out of stock in JB HIFI stores. Bummer. I also wanted to use ZIP to pay for it

      • The Noel Leeming store wouldn't even price match themselves on the Market where you can get the regular Fenix 6 Sapphire for $687 (vs. $724 in store) with the 5% off deal going on atm.

        • Don't go to stores, do it online and use the helpdesk to get the discount. I found that NL stores simply do not honour price matches.

The watch is bloody massive on my skinny wrist. I feel like captain America wearing the shield

    • Yeah the 6S or 6 are better for smaller wrists.

  • Garmin Forerunner 45 is $175 at Heathcotes if anyone's interested
