Google Nest Hub (Gen 1 Refurb) + Oral-B Toothpaste $80.46 Delivered @1-Day

TECH20ILOVESHOPPING

Cheapest Nest Hub you'll find with 12 months warranty.

2nd hand ones often don't come close to this price on TM/FB and you wont get warranty there either.

Gen 2 has slightly better speaker, cleaner design and sleep sensing (which is free for a while but will cost subscription later it seems). So you're not losing much between the two.

Hoping they have a sale on hub max. Looking to upgrade to a bigger screen and front camera.

This deal is pretty bloody good for the google with a screen.

  • Thanks OP. Grabbed one :)

I'm curious, what do you guys use this for? Is it just easier than using a phone with voice assistant?

    • With the Olympics it's proving useful as a second screen to display the coverage on while the Living Room TV is being used to watch something else.

      • Oh nice I didn't realise you could use for video content

I've had two of these and now I have the max version I can't see why they didn't put a camera in at least the updated version. The max you can use video call using duo (also use it like an intercom) and the nest you can do the same thing, but the caller cannot see you. The max version you can also use as a security camera. On both versions you can watch SKYSPORT, Netflix, TVNZ, YouTube etc by casting or giving commands. Makes a great little monitor in the kitchen or office also you can ask for recipes, spelling etc and it gives you written information you can scroll through.

      • Thanks. Didn't realize this one didn't had camera.

    • bought one for fam to use in the kitchen for youtube, recipes, music playing, reminders (bills/rubbish), shopping list, internet radio, Tv on demand/netflix etc etc

eventually tie it to a video door bell, house security later too once I Invest more into home automation

  • Tempting.

I noticed WHS had the Amazon echo Show 5 for around $80 on clearance.

    Any idea how it compares?

    • Screen size. This is big. I have echo show 5 in bedroom. It is quite small for kitchen use or video /youtube. Use it mostly for controlling lights.
